The oldest man over in Okeechobee County died this week at the age of 103. His longevity was attributed to his practice of sprinkling a small amount of gunpowder on his oatmeal each morning.

He left six children, 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 38 great-great-grandchildren and a 15 foot hole where the crematorium used to be.
